Green God Games (GGG) is an independent tabletop role-playing game company founded by four lifelong RPG enthusiasts: Paul Ostrowski, Vaughn Ripley, Tim Potts, and Mike Follin.

Together, we bring approximately 160 years of gaming experience across more than 50 tabletop RPG systems.

We’re creating innovative RPG tools, original adventures, campaign settings, and resources to make your gaming sessions even more memorable.

No. Green God Games is an independent tabletop RPG publisher and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Wizards of the Coast.

Dungeons & Dragons and related trademarks belong to their respective owners.

Kollide is our Director of Public Relations, Head of Security, and unofficial Human Resources department. He’s a 7-foot mountain of muscle, questionable hygiene, and unresolved anger issues.

His qualifications include crushing skulls, intimidating dragons, and once successfully negotiating a peace treaty by eating the opposing diplomat.

Kollide takes customer service very seriously. Unfortunately, he considers most customers a threat.

He’s currently on his third anger management counselor. The first two are still missing.

Fun fact: Kollide has never lost an argument. Or learned to read.

If you’d like to meet him, he’s usually guarding our Coming Soon pages. Just don’t make eye contact, ask when something will be ready, or use words with more than two syllables.

Monster Forge is our online monster creation and customization tool for Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition.

It allows Game Masters to create original monsters, customize existing creatures, and build memorable encounters without spending hours manually assembling stat blocks.

Yes! Monster Forge’s core monster creation and customization features are completely free to use.

You can explore the monster library, customize creatures, and create original monsters without purchasing a subscription.

Optional paid memberships unlock additional features, including online storage of your homebrewed monsters.

Monster Forge supports both:

• D&D 5e (2014 rules).
• D&D 5.5e (2024 revised rules).

You can work with the ruleset that best fits your campaign.

Monster Forge currently includes more than 3,500 monster entries, and the library continues to grow.

You’ll find familiar creatures alongside additional monsters and original Green God Games creations.

Absolutely!

Monster Forge lets you create original creatures and customize their statistics, abilities, attacks, defenses, and other characteristics.

Whether you’re building a low-level nuisance or a campaign-ending nightmare, the Forge is yours to command.

Of course! That’s one of the best things about Monster Forge.

Start with an existing creature and adjust it to suit your adventure.

Want a fire-breathing troll? An unusually intelligent ogre? A goblin with delusions of godhood?

Go for it. Your players will thank you. Eventually.

You can use the core monster creation and customization tools for free.

An account or paid membership may be required for features such as saving your homebrewed monsters online.

Yes! Online monster storage is available through our optional paid memberships.

Current membership options include:

• Master Monster Smith: $19.99/year, up to 500 saved monsters.
• Lifetime Monster Smith: $59.99 one-time purchase, up to 500 saved monsters.

Lifetime Monster Smith is a one-time purchase that provides access to its included membership features for the operational lifetime of the Monster Forge service.

There are no annual renewal fees for this membership.

Ah, you’ve met our little bundle of sunshine!

Vorthazul, the Rimefire Demon, is the official Monster Forge mascot.

He’s a terrifying Challenge Rating 18 demon who combines fire and ice into devastating attacks.

We created Vorthazul using Monster Forge to demonstrate the kinds of creatures you can unleash upon your unsuspecting players.

He’s available for birthday parties, although we strongly recommend fire insurance.

We get all our data (monsters, magic items, PC races, classes, etc) from http://open5e.com/. At the bottom of each monster you will see a link to the license for the provider of that monster data (usually https://open5e.com/legal).

Our goal is to provide memorable experiences for Game Masters and players, whether they’re running a one-shot adventure or an epic campaign.

Ashorn is an expansive fantasy city setting under development by Green God Games.

Located in the Eastern Marches of Averath, Ashorn features political intrigue, powerful factions, ancient mysteries, dangerous districts, and countless opportunities for adventure.

We’re designing Ashorn as a rich, game-agnostic resource that Game Masters can incorporate into their own campaigns.

Our products may support different tabletop RPG systems depending on the release.

We’ll clearly identify compatibility and supported rulesets for each product.
